Covers the southern tip of Manhattan, and shows the locations of the various wards of the city. Includes an index to over forty places of interest in the lower right. Among these are a number of religious houses of worship, showing the religious diversity of the city, including meeting places for Quakers, Lutherans, Catholics, Moravians, Presbyterians, Baptists, and Jews (the Mill Street location of America's first synagogue is included). The map also contains an ornamented dedication to James De Lancey, Lieutenant Governor of New York, on the left side, and a coat of arms in the upper right with the name of the Mayor, Edward Holland.
