Originally produced as a large classroom wall map, this map shows the configuration of Europe between the World Wars. The new countries of Finland, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, and Albania are shown, as well as the re-emergence of Poland, Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania. The borders of Germany and Poland extend much further east than in present day, and the new enlarged borders of Greece are shown in their present day configuration since the end of the Balkan Wars in the 1910s. An inset map in the upper right corner shows the population densities of Europe at the time.
